Fearless little Romy (Rozmarína Willems) has lost her beloved budgie, Mimi. With her mother giving up hope that Mimi will return, she gives Romy another budgie, which Romy calls “Nothing”. Full of determination, Romy brings “Nothing” along on her quest to find her missing bird.
With the open-eyed curiosity of a seven-year-old, filmmaker Mira Fornay’s She – Hero taps into a magical world. Set in a Slovakian forest where reality and fantasy merge, Romy encounters many exciting discoveries and mysterious characters in her search for Mimi. Brim with the enchantment of nature and adventure, this charming and adorable story is dedicated to “children, forests and rivers” and ready to be loved by children and adults alike.
